General FAQ
What is ItsLiveMusic? ItsLiveMusic is a place for performing musicians, venue owners, and live-music fans to find one another. Artists and venue managers are welcome to open their free accounts, promote their shows, upload music, and post links to their website and online stores.

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it? From the home page, click on the “login” link; from the login page follow the link that says "Forgot your login details?"

How can I find a band or a venue I'm looking for? Drag your cursor over either the “Bands” or the “Venues” tab next to the search bar and type in the name of the band or venue you are looking for. You could also type just the first few letters from the name of the venue or band.

How can I find local live music in my area? Drag your cursor over the “Live” tab next to the search bar and type in either one or any combination of the following: address, city, state, zip code, cross street. For example each one of the following queries is acceptable: “90034”, “saint Louis”, “314 s gardner street”, “sunset and la cienega”, “broadway blvd, new york”.

How comes some pages on the site look different than others? We are installing a new design, and adding many new features to the site. We would love if we could have it done in a single day; unfortunately that’s not an option. So for the next month or so you will see the public pages on the site in one design, and the administrative pages (where you sign up and manage information on your account) in a different one. Hope you would not get too annoyed.

Artist FAQ
I can't log in but I know I registered what should I do? A verification email should have been sent shortly after you signed up with instructions on verifying your account (it's simple, just clicking on a link). If you didn’t receive this email, check your junk box or spam folder and make sure it’s not there. If that doesn't help, send your email address and login name to support@itslivemusic.com and we will contact you with instructions.

What can I do with my free artist account? You could upload unlimited number of your songs, post your shows schedules, write a biography, link to your other websites and blogs, and promote your merchandise.

How do I enter shows to my artist account? Log in to your account and follow the "Add a New Show" link. Choose the date, time and venue name and click on “Save Changes”.

How do I change any of my band's details like our music genre, members’ names, biography, links, and merchandise? Log in to your account and follow the “Edit My Account” link. Choose which fields to edit and click save.

What do I write in the “Band notes” tab? You could write a short text (as oppose to your biography) that will be displayed right next to the band name on the artist page. Whenever you have a new message to deliver (a new CD, looking for representation, “need booking!” and so forth) use this feature.

How do I upload a picture to my artist account? From the “Edit My Account” page, click on the “Browse” link in the picture area and then click on save.

How do I upload a song to the player? From the "Edit My Account" page, follow the “Edit Music” link.

What kind of audio can I upload and how many songs? We can only accept MP3 files at this time. You can upload unlimited number of songs.

Will the songs I add show on my page? Yes

How can my band be featured on the home page player? Every band that uploaded music is featured on the home page player. The number of times a band is featured on the player is determined by the quantity of views and page views the band has on the site.

I didn’t sign up but I see my band has a page on ItsLiveMusic, how do I take ownership? Send us an email to claims@itslivemusic.com and include your name and position with the band (manager, agent, band member, etc.). Someone from ItsLiveMusic will get back to you on how to confirm your ownership.

How do I remove my artist account from ItsLiveMusic? We will be disappointed if you choose to do so, but in case you chose to remove your profile from ItsLiveMusic simply login, follow the “Edit My Account” link, and click on the “Cancel account” link at the bottom of the page.

Venue FAQ

How do I enter shows to my venue account? Log in to your account and follow the "Add a New Show" link. Choose the date, time and band name and click on “Save Changes”.

How do I upload a picture to my venue account? From the “Edit My Account” page, click on the “Browse” link in the picture area and then click on save.

I didn’t sign up but I see my venue has a page on ItsLiveMusic, how do I take ownership? Send us an email to claims@itslivemusic.com and include your name and position with the venue (booking manager, owner, etc.). Someone from ItsLiveMusic will get back to you on how to confirm your ownership.

I want to sell tickets to live music shows in my venue, how do I apply and is the service free? Log in to your account and follow the "Add a New Show" link, and then the “Apply for Free” link in the tickets area. The ticket sales services are all free for venues.

How do I remove my venue account from ItsLiveMusic? We will be sorry to see you leave, but in case you chose to remove your venue account from ItsLiveMusic simply login, follow the “Edit My Account” link, and click on the “Cancel account” link at the bottom of the page.

Member FAQ
